Presentation of HB

HB was established on 14 September 2002 in Zagreb as a conservative, right-wing splinter of HDZ, lead by Ivić Pašalić. In the 2003 general elections, the party could not enter the Parliament; it subsequently attempted to obtain more success in coalitions with similar parties. HB was disbanded in 2008.

Flag of HB

The flag of HB is prescribed in the party's statutes as a simple flag horizontally divided red-white-blue. However, a light blue flag with the party's emblem and name was used instead. The emblem of HB consists of a white square charged with five red squares forming a stylied letter "H".
